CAMBODIA

Going Missional in

Spiritual attacks are so real when we are out on the mission field. It is especially pronounced when the body and mind are weak from either physical ailments or lack of sleep. However, the prayers from my teammates, intercessors and most importantly the Word of God was what pulled me through the trip.

God gave me the verse from Joshua 1:9 before the trip began. It says: "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

The comfort I needed that pulled me through was the reassurance that God was with me even when my head was groggy half of the time throughout the trip.

I am also grateful to God for giving me a chance to partner with Him to share His Word and Heart for the people we met here in Takeo Province, Cambodia. I do not think I have prayed over so many people in my life before. This trip has taught me to wholely depend on the Holy Spirit for prayers of salvation, blessings and encouragement, especially in the weakened state. Therefore, I now truly believe that God can use anyone, even the weakest body for someone else's salvation and restoration. Without the Holy Spirit, I won't have the courage or words to pray and share. So really and truly, all Glory and Honour belongs to God.
